The unit is really spacious, extremely clean, and really well equipped. Beautiful views of the mountains as well as closely situated to the lake. Perfect location to just get out of the craziness of the cities. One of the best places we have stayed in our travels, and we have traveled quite a lot. Every now and then you find these hidden gems. The hosts are extremely accomodating and make you feel really at home. This is a 5 start spot

The cloister is unique, in very nice location within the lake area of Bavaria near Chiemsee. Seeon has a extraordinary historical and spiritual atmosphere. The reconstruction of the hotel was costly, perfect and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent incl. domestic honey, pretzels and local bread. Little higher cost of the hotel but appropriate to the "genuis loci" of the whole histrical place wmebdded in a beautiful preserved nature.
