Excellent location close to the historic centre with plenty of walking paths directly accessible without needing to drive, both "via verdes" (old railway lines which have no steep gradients, and also paths which go up into the hills. Antique house, 300 years old owned by a family in just 1,5 hours from Barcelona. the furniture and decorations are authentic and really cosy. it was I returned to my childhood which I spent in a village. The area is very rural, the house is surrounded by small cow farm, sheep farm and some birds farms, but there was no smell or other inconveniences. A pedestrian about 5 km circle goes round the house along with Ter river which was very quiet and shallow probably due to lack of water. Sustega water reservoir is in 30 min drive from the house. It has a really impressive dumb and mountain river.
