Basoan was one of the best accommodations we have ever been in. It was so quit & peaceful, but very close to the main attractions in the area. All the facilities were great, the stuff were so kind and the view was fantastic. Would recommend to everyone we know!

The room was in great shape, it looked recently refurbished but still had a homey vibe and was very clean. The bed was nice and comfortable, with one firm pillow and one medium softness so you can choose which one you prefer. The location is in the Basque countryside and you can experience the peacefulness and scenery of the countryside, but there are a few restaurants very close, and it is an 8-minute drive to the closest town, 15 minutes to Bilbao Airport, and within 30 minutes to many sights along the coast. We could use the kitchen fridge, prepare food in the common space and eat in the dining area, which is great to save money or if you have a special diet, but the only cooking permitted was to use the microwave. It worked fine in the summer since I didn't want to eat hot foods anyway.

Everything was fantastic! There was plenty of space for a group of 10 of us with room to spare. Large open plan living area and kitchen, great for group meals and entertaining which extends to the outside sun lounge and patio area. The amenities were great and Kepa the host was very accommodating of all of our requests. There were plenty of sports equipments to use with plenty of garden space and a great pool. Location was great, enough out of the city to feel in the countryside but also only a 15 minute taxi to Bilbao. Additionally there is plenty of parking for 2 or more cars.

Super helpful and simply amazing host, beautiful views from the hill where the property is located, clean and with comfortable bed. The kitchen is well equipped so I had all I needed to cook breakfasts. There are 2 friendliest donkeys that live nearby, absolutely lovely creatures! We loved our stay and I would definitely return there again!

This is really a very beautiful historical building; it was better than expected, easy parking in front of hotel, nice clean and large rooms, beautiful decorated, wonderful view out of the window. Efficient check in, best breakfast I have ever had around this area (variety of everything and all fresh), and also a very good restaurant. Reserving for dinner is recommended and rightfully so as it can be quite busy. Fair prices for drinks and wine. We were with our dog and appreciated we could bring it with us. 10 km drive to the centre of Bilbao (parking garages almost everywhere) and good place to start your visit of the region (close to the main road). Very silent in the evening.
