The location was great close to what we wanted to see. The facilities were great there was ample parking and the food was very good. Patricia, the host, was very friendly and engaging if we make it out here again I will be stay here, thanks for everything.

It was very functional for my desire to be near to Bayeux, and to be able to go throughout Normandy from 9 am to 10:30 pm every day. I wish that my friend and I had some extra time to enjoy the backyard for some relaxing during the trip - but, it was important for us to see as much as we could relating to D-Day.

The location in the countryside, the personal touch in every aspect, from food to furniture: it is a family home, and they are wonderful people! The place has a beating heart, something which is very difficult to find these days.

It was our first bed and breakfast and boy- it did not disappoint. We stayed in the Mathilda room and it was perfect for my husband and I and two teenage daughters. The room had a reading nook, small living area and a loft for an additional bed. The big surprise was how big the bathroom was and it actually had a shower glass door that closed all the way and not the typical half glass enclosure you see in European bathrooms. Our absolute favorite thing is the breakfast served. Valerie served breakfast in a cute breakfast area. Amazing croissants and French bread from the local bakery, homemade apricot and strawberry jam, local yogurt and of course- coffee. The grounds were amazing too. The gardens were meticulously cared for. Will definitely stay there again if we are ever in the Normandy area.

We were there for a week. Eight adults, a 5-year old and a large size dog. The château is brilliant. Lots and lots of space, very well equipped for the most part. The weather was very cold and humid when we arrived, the hosts were able to come and switch the central heating within a coue of hours, which saved our séjour. It would have been pretty miserable and difficult to enjoy otherwise. We made use of the spacious kitchen, the pool table, made a fire in the massive fireplace. The surrounding grounds are something of a dream. Massive space, plenty of grass, flowering plants, towering trees with ivy covered trunks. Plenty of privacy and nature sounds, all contributing to a very relaxing atmosphere. As a bonus, a small Carrefour supermarket within a 5-minute walk for groceries and other supplies. Brilliant farmer's market on Wednesdays and Sundays, excellent fruit, veg, meat, seafood and cheeses. Very dog friendly, had no restrictions imposed for our pupper.

Spacious house. Great location. All necessary supplies provided. Excellent host. Beautiful setting, peaceful and quiet. Outdoor patio and bench was very enjoyable for eating in the sun.
