Location great for touring Medoc side of Brodeaux, and probably the city itself, but we had stayed in the city. 25-35min from airport except at rush hour. Walled premises parking inside at door of standalone small house, fully equipped kitchen most everything obviously pretty new. Warm welcome, as host lives there in main house. We were in winter, but garden around, so bbq available.

Philippe and Sylvie were the most amazing hosts. The property and gardens were so inviting. we had a delicious breakfast each day and could not have been happier with the great food and great conversation. it was our 30th wedding anniversary and we wanted a few quiet days in the countryside. it was lovely. Philippe has great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in the area.

Lovely place...stunning building, very wonderfully modernized. Incredible setting on the river and very nice pool. The food is excellent (though note that they don't serve dinner). It is closer to downtown Bordeaux than we realized. But that was not bad. It was easy to drive to wine venues from there, and you felt like you were in the countryside. On the other hand, one could easily get to downtown Bordeaux from there if you wanted.

very very friendly host! spoke English well. went out of his way to make us comfortable. even went with us to the garage cause our car had problems. gave us a breakfast although we had not booked that but trusted us that we would pay to his bank. beautiful cozy very clean appartement with jacuzzi and lot of attentive extras.
