We loved staying in this old chateau, which was renovated by the owners to a very high standard. It's very well appointed and comfortable, in a quiet village in the countryside. The breakfast was excellent (with really good coffee from a Moka pot). The hosts were lovely, taking time out to show the castle even though they were busy preparing for a big weekend wedding.

A very spacious rustic residence with modern equipment in peaceful rural surroundings. Suzanne managed to get us guidance after we lost data signal on our mobiles which did not have detailed enough preloaded offline maps for that part of France. A friendly local even led us to the house in his own car for the last leg. Brommat village was about 5km away from the house and had amenities, but the best bit was it's village walking route through the village and out into the sticks and back.
