You can really tell that lots of love has flown into every nook and cranny of this little cottage. It is welcoming and homely right from the start, and you can find everything you need: The kitchen has clearly been equiped by someone who is actually using it as well. First of all, even though the kitchen is very small, it is furnished incredibly efficient. This also means that there is room for a surprising amount of things: There is basically *every* kitchen utensil you might need. This starts with some basics that everyone has in their kitchen, but are so often forgotten in rental apartment kitchens (like e.g. a pair of scissors). Apart from that, there are also more specialized items available, like e.g. a masher, a potato peeler, a garlic press, a measuring jug, and even some kitchen scales. As if that was not enough, there is even a washing machine in the kitchen - excellent for longer trips. In the garden, you can find a clothes dryer for hanging up your wet clothes afterwards. The living room and the bedroom are also quite small. Still, the available space has been used very efficiently again. Thanks to that, you can even find quite a few books, games, and puzzles in the living room. I did not use those, as I was lucky enough to have lots of sunny days, but it is nice to have them available for rainy days. Finally, the bed is really comfortable, and I always had a good night's sleep. As it is a rather narrow double bed (probably Queen size) with one shared duvet, though, it is probably better suited to couples than friends travelling together, I guess.

Everything was perfect during my stay. The location is very close to the city of Portree and is also an excellent base to get to the main attractions in the north of the island such as Old Man Storr. The room is very spacious and has everything we need. It is very well decorated and with details that reveal excellent taste on the part of the owners. Regarding breakfast, this was without a doubt the best breakfast during my 7 days trip to Scotland. In addition to all the points mentioned above, it was a great pleasure to meet the owner couple and their little son. From the beginning they made me feel at home and their passion for what they do made everything even more special. I will definitely return to the Isle of Skye and The Red Red Robin Cottage accommodation will be my first choice. Thanks for everything Les and Mery.

The property is exceptional. It is located on a lovely farm in the countryside. It has amazing views of the sea, rolling hills, lambs, and little bunnies. The cottage is lovely and the furniture and furnishings are the best we have seen in a self-catering property in Scotland. You can easily drive to all the points of interest on the island within a reasonable time. I recommend stocking up on food at the Co-Op in Portree or before. The restaurants are few and far between on the island.

I love this cottage badly! Everything impressed me on the time we all step inside the house .. imagine the house complete with amenities . The host was so understanding and very kind providing us a few snacks with fresh flowers! That so cute 🤍 The house super clean and the room was so tidy. The kitchen amenities beyond my expectations.. definitely will recommend to others ! 👍👍👍👍
