The property is located in quaint small village with close proximity to the best beaches in Crete. Our host was very accommodating and welcomed us with a carafe of Raki and some treats, she even went as far as to get us cream and milk for our morning coffee. The property has some great views of the mountain range. highly recommended

Everything!! The view is not to be believed! So beautiful and relaxing! Such a wonderful place to enjoy quiet and peace, but not so far away from the beautiful beaches and other towns. The food at panorama Taverna had been some of the best Traditional dishes we’ve had on Crete.

Very good stay at Vellanos Villas! Superios quet place in a little village. Very clean and cozy appartment, equipped with all needed facilities. Good Tavern just in 10 minutes walking distance. Jenny is super friendly and intelligent person! It was pleasure for us to speak with her. She looks, what exactly needed by guests and provides very valuable information. Jenny has provided very testy welcome cake, and then (unexpectedly) another one after several days. We were pleased and enjoying both! There are plenty of places to visit around that place. Not all we were able to see, thus will come once more to the West side of Crete. Vellanos Villas is best option to stay (need to book well in advance, as the place is popular). Thanks Jenny! Fantastic traditional style house done to a modern spec. Facilities very good and finish of property to a high standard. Size of property was impressive for our family of 3, split over two levels. Surrounding gardens beautifully maintained and pool, Sun loungers and hammocks great for enjoying this retreat up in the hills of SW of Crete. A fantastic base for exploring the beaches and mountain villages of this part of the island and close enough to easily visit the likes of Ellafonisi beach. A special mention for the host Mary though she was so friendly and accommodating with plenty of good info for the surrounding area, made us feel super welcome and always available if need be on site or via phone.

Horio House was so lovely, clean and felt very new and comfortable. Great cooking facilities too. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely go back there again. The hosts were very welcoming and Maria's Horio House presents of olive oil, wine and raki were delicious and appreciated! Thankyou!

We had a fantastic stay at Arhontika Villas. The host was friendly and welcoming, his mother made a beautiful cake for us and the host provided fruit, olive oil, raki and delicious marmalade on the kitchen table. The Villa is very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by hills and nature. The villa has excellent facilities, two bedrooms, bathroom and an extra downstairs toilet, plenty of storage and a good kitchen with all you need in terms of pots, pans, cutlery and plates. The living space is generous with a good sofa and TV, and so is the outdoor space, you have a jacuzzi, swimming pool and sun loungers. The garden is well looked after and the fragrant smell in the evening is divine! There is plently of space for parking and Elos village is very close with it's tavernas – we found that Filoxena was the best, and don't forget to drive to Milia Mountain Restaurant, the food there is exceptional.

Very nice place, indeed et the end of small concrete road. With the tiny road you can continue the walk to olive trees forests, and hills. Quiet place with beautiful view to the mointains, valley, see and sunset. In one oppinion was information on bad road, not true. Just tiny narrow road you can easily drive, just 150m from the asphalt road. Very quiet village, nice hiking trails to the sea, we tasted 2 taverns, and we hope to visit the place again.

The Vila was wonderful! Our hosts left us sweets, drinks, mineral water and a wonderful pool! Everything was exceptional - the room sizes, the dining area, the kitchen, the location and the pool were just amazing. The yard, the garden and everything else was just amazing. For clarification the Vila has one bathroom with toilet and a separate toilet accessible through the dining room and the kitchen. The two bedrooms are large enough for 4 people each. The living room has a sofa suitable for a single person but not for a couple.
