Words are not enough to describe this place, but I’ll give it a try!! We definitely recommend to stay here as long as you can, it was so hard for us to leave and we regretted not being able to stay more than 4 nights here! We had everything we could ever need, the house was perfect, very clean and well equipped with everything we may ever need. At our arrival, every little detail was taken care of and the owner, George, went out of his way to accommodate us and have an amazing holiday. He was at our disposal 24/7, literally. He waited for us with fresh fruit, cold water, wine, and rakia, a really pleasure in a sunny day. We even got the opportunity to meet his very welcoming family at our departure (Thanks again, George, for letting us feel like we were part of your family!). The pool was the main point of attraction for us, very clean, perfect size and about 1.5 meters deep with a corner suitable for kids also and an outdoor shower. We were two couples, so the 4 wood sun beds were a perfect match for us. In the night the pool is perfectly illuminated, as in the photos, that gave a nice feeling after the sun went down. The outdoor space was excellent, there were plenty of lovely spaces where you could have your breakfast or dinner, as on the main terrace there is a huge table suitable for at least 6 persons and about 3 other small tables for snacks at the pool or to enjoy a breakfast with sea view. There is a barbecue also for which George provided us with all the necessary (we bought meat from a Synka supermarket in Platanos, a 15 minutes drive on our way to Phalasarna beach). The wifi was very strong indoor and outdoor (about 50 Mbs) so I think it would have been a good place also for work from home. Every room had its own TV with Netflix (although we did not used it, as we were too busy with the pool and lovely beaches around the place, but I think it would be great for kids though).

Everything about this place was amazing! It was lovely being so close to the coast, we explored the beach and loved looking at all the rocks. The Villa was perfect. It was comfortable, clean, and BEAUTIFUL. There were three village cats that came to visit us daily and they were a treat, we loved them dearly!! We even bought them some food and held them! The hosts we're extremely informative about the area and gave us ideas on where to go and what to do for food. The area is secluded and you have to account for the distance you are from other cities. Plan your meals! Especially because places can be closed. We relaxed all day multiple days here. The pool was amazing too. We loved this place and seriously wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to be back someday!! Plan your washes when you wash your clothes. We hanged dryed ours and it worked fine. It's a very energy friendly place! You definitely want to get a rental car coming to Crete, and be prepared for a bumpy road when visiting Balos. Go there early!!! The path to this hotel is on a curvy mountain side to drive safely. The roads can get narrow. You're able to park right in front of the villa. A few cars go past the house but it was few and far between. Loved being here especially in a less crowded season. We had the beach to ourselves almost everyday. It's a rocky beach though, not a sandy one so be careful. Wear shoes hahaha thank you again for such a lovely and amazing stay. We are grateful for your help and constant availability.

Very nice place, indeed et the end of small concrete road. With the tiny road you can continue the walk to olive trees forests, and hills. Quiet place with beautiful view to the mointains, valley, see and sunset. In one oppinion was information on bad road, not true. Just tiny narrow road you can easily drive, just 150m from the asphalt road. Very quiet village, nice hiking trails to the sea, we tasted 2 taverns, and we hope to visit the place again.

Absolutely beautiful villa. Spotlessy clean and such an amazing swimming pool. Everything you need. unreal baking cakes and having tea coffee milk and all essentials we needed. The hosts recommended amazing restaurants less than 10 min drive and also beautiful beach bar to watch sun set So close to falasarna beach which is one of best beaches in crete. Everything was fabulous just really great place.

Excellent host and home. We had an exceptional stay. Clean, spacious, modern and comfortable home with everything needed to make it feel like your home. Owners did a great job of communicating and welcoming us. Every amenity you can ever imagine is there, whether it be a long or a short stay, you don’t need to bring anything but your clothes. The wrap around porch area is inviting to watch the sunset or sunrise. The owners go above and beyond with the little things. The home is a short 5 minute car ride to Falssarna beach which is a great beach. Several good restaurants to choose from all within a 5-10 minute drive. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It is a nice small house surrounded by greenhouses in a agricultural area. It is not typical for a holidays and if you are aware of this, the house itself is very nice. You need to have a car to move around. The beaches are amazing.

Wonderful apartment! Spacious, nicely decorated, fully equipped and clean. You feel like at home. Perfect base for exploring west part of island. Very close to Falasarna beach and Balos beach.Very nice host, he cares for you to feel satisfied with your stay, responses very fast on messages. I truly recommend that place.
