The unit is an updated designer decorated apartment above the hosts Tuscan old house. It has a separate stair entrance. The setting and the garden, the glass house in it are beautiful, impecable and with good taste. Giulio and Massimo were very accommodating and helpful. We asked if they could help us find a truffle hunting and they were able to arrange one that was fantastic. We left with lots of large black truffles and a few small whites. Giulio drove all the way to another city to the meeting place to make sure we found our guide, and Bella the dog. Gave us lots of local suggestions. We had everything we needed in the apartment, lots of Nespresso pods, teas, there was even some pasta but we did not cook. The heat was great as well. I left some medicines and Giulio offered to mail them when he found them but I did not need them. We hope to return, even fantasizing with spending a month there and becoming more “Tuscan”. Great location, few minutes away from Lucca, also close to Pisa, central location.

The property is so beautiful . The terrace is a stunning spot for dining. We loved the pool and Jacuzzi this was a real treat in the hot weather. The bonus is Raffaella and Monica who were so welcoming and made you feel at home straight away. We would love to make a return trip soon.

The overall experience this place give you is fenomanal. First you arrive, there is a big tree whit a teracce under, and an old building restored az turned into a modern hotel/restaurant. It is very calm and relaxing to be there. There is a very big garden where you can sit / lay down. The bed was very big and comfortable. The staff is super nice and supportive. They speak good english. And always there is you need help. The restaurant is on a differnt level of eating. The dishes are extraordanary and big enaugh.

Everything about Antica Dimora was perfect. Breakfast was first class, and the room exceptionally comfortable. The hosts were so very kind, even taking us to the railway station when our taxi failed to arrive.

The house itself is beautiful and Marta makes your stay as comfortable as possible. Every morning an amazing, freshly baked breakfast is prepared and she is always ready to answer questions or to make recommendations. Also there are a couple of good restaurants in walking distance of the house.
