The owner picked us up from Kyoto station and drove us to the property, fantastic service! Upon arriving she showed us around and how to 'work' the house. The hosue itself as absolutely beautiful, for being 100+ years old it had a modern feel but at the same time totally quint essential Japanese, which is exactly why we wanted to stay here. We loved our stay here and I can honestly say it made our whole Japan trip. We hope to be back again soon to use the bath tub which warmed us up on a very cold kyoto december.

Huge hotel room. We asked the staff to remove the table and armchairs as we were travelling with our baby Rio. Wasn’t any problem at all. The staff was always very helpful and supportive especially when the suitcase ship to another hotel. Thanks again!!

Great value for the price. The hotel is new and very clean, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are bigger than average, the beds are comfortable and clean, they have smart tvs in the rooms, and the hot bath on the first floor is amazing! The bath area is very clean and has high quality cosmetic products as well. The coffee in the lounge is also good! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you :)
