the place is wonderful, you are at Ourika Valley but far from the noise above! the hotel is situated by the river so when you go downstairs you leave all the busy narrow road to simply enjoy the sound of the river, the garden and the mountains! The rooms are cozy and comfortable but the best of this place I’m still to tell: Martine, the owner, is an incredible gentle woman, and Samira will delight you with her cooking skills! the first time I was there in 2018 I knew I’ve found a gem and I’ve returned five times more!! if you like trekking, Mr. Ibrahim will take you to wonderland in the mountains! We had a great stay at Amlougui House, thanks to the kind hospitality of Ibrahim, his family and Hassan. The house is located just in the middle of the village and boasts amazing views over the valley and the surrounding mountains. Food was good and plenty! Bed super comfy. Definitely reccomended to travellers looking for authentic experiences away from the cahos of the city. Great place for hiking.

This property is on a main road in Ourika Valley. The one bedroom apartment is the same as in the photos. Very tidy and beautifully decorated. We use the kitchen during our stay and the owner kindly provided us with the pots and other cooking equipment. The area is very beautiful and surrounded by nature. You can do a lot of walking along the river. Breakfast is very generous and we had lunch in the restaurant once. As we stayed in December, it was a bit cold however there are heaters in the living room and bedroom. Rooftop terrace has amazing views.
