It was a very pleasant staying in Taiparoro House in Tauranga. You cannot imagine a better place to stay there! The room was very nice and cozy, The house itself is a living history - it was built in 19th century and you can still feel that it's old and unique. The hosts - Penny and Ian are very nice and helpful people. They serve continental breakfast and it's most delicious breakfast I had - including croissants, vegetables, fruits, toasts, good quality muesli and many more! I strongly recommend you to stay in this place!

We felt really welcomed from the beginning. Nice self-service breakfast. Our host was responsive and friendly, providing excellent tips and ideas for our trip. Considerate, by his own initiative making the room ready earlier because it was raining cats and dogs outside. Good location and private car parking. Good and clear instructions for self-check in.

Everything was made for making us feel literally at home! Comfy Bed good quality of the linens, super clean and tidy! Kitchen has everything we need + bbq! I will recommend to my friends!

Beautiful place and very friendly hosts.. Very close to Tauranga but yet away from all the noise.. enjoyed lovely breakfast and evening spa with sunset .. our 5 yr old would vanish for few minutes running behind birds but we wouldn't worry as it's very safe..

We had a fabulous stay - Peter and Jenny are perfect hosts! We arrived later in the evening without having had a meal. They advised which places would be open (takeaways) and then Peter drove with hubby to collect! Breakfast was generous with fabulous coffee. Such a lovely stay. Thank you Peter and Jenny.

We really enjoyed the outside bath and bubbles.It was nice and quiet and the sound of the birds singing in the bush.lovely and clean bed was really comfortable and the heating was excellent.
