Helena and Carlos were EXCEPTIONAL hosts. We had a logistical problem (we were given the wrong location) and they immediately sorted everything out in the most wonderful way. The apartment is spectacular. The location, the rooms, the facilities, and the views are breathtaking. We were only there one night (Camino walkers) but could have stayed for a month. Thank you both so much!!

The location is stunning, with a view to eternity from the villa's mountainside position. It was a bit of a maze to find our way in at first but we quickly got used to the steep and twisting little roads. Arriving makes it all worth it. The villa is secluded with beautiful gardens, fruit trees and flowers. The pool is very private and there is a BBQ. The church bells ringing down in the valley all add to the ambiance. We found several lovely walks up and around and in the forests. The owner was very kind and helpful (those cherries were delicious Rui, thank you!)

It's a beautiful property in a lovely countryside location with excellent accommodation for our group of friends. There are few places around where all 8 bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom! We really did feel very special staying in such a grand place full of history. The pool area was great for hanging out by and for more adventurous days the beach was 30mins drive away and the pretty town of Ponte de Lima only 10mins for shopping. José was an excellent host and very helpful before and during our stay! We would all highly recommend a visit!

We had an amazing stay! We happened to come at a bit of a rainy time, but the property was so lovely it didn't matter. The views were beautiful and we made use of the fireplace during the evenings when it was chilly. The host could not have been better - very responsive and accommodating. He delivered a delicious breakfast on our first morning, and responded very quickly to any questions we had. It was an easy drive to Viana do Castelo and Ponte de Lima, and there is a little market close by for groceries. We would definitely stay here again!

Really quiet lovely spot on the countryside. The host was amazing and very helpful (facilitated my babies staying). Recommendable place for someone who needs to disconnect (although it has wifi ;) )
