The location, really great place to start exploring the Serra da estrela area. The house itself is great, really spacious and tastefully decorated. The game room is a nice little bonus. The hosts were perfect. A big thank you to Maria do Carmo for making us feel welcome.

The house has a great rustic feeling. It's calm and relaxing. The house was cleaned and had everything that we need to prepare our meals. The pool space is amazing with sun all day. The host it's very friendly and helpful, always checking and replying very fast to our doubts. He even manage to arrange a barbecue grill for us. Very thoughtful! I would like to return!

Location was central to the area we wanted to explore. Animals were friendly. Hosts were able to communicate with my English and my very limited Portuguese. Photos and directions were perfect and the listing was exactly as described. Saw fire salamanders on our nighttime walk.
