Perfect small cabin for a stay in Poloniny National Park. Close to a few hiking trails

Amazing large house with a terrific outdoor seating area and a well-designed fire-burning grill. The chalupa (homestead) is appointed with well maintained original mid-century Eastern European furniture that gives the whole place an aura of authenticity. The location couldn’t be better, as it’s surrounded by Poloniny National Park, and the hiking trailheads are just up the road, while the valleys are perfect for cycling.

Beautiful and very clean house with excellent equipment. There was a (real) coffee machine with coffee beans provided which is very unusual. A lots of space inside and outside. Amazing surroundings and views. We had a great time.

Due to some circumstances, it was a sudden decision to take this trip. I booked the accommodation at about lunch time of the same date, when I was supposed to arrive before the night, and it was still possible. I came few hours later due to long journey and it still could have been handled and I received a warm invitation next morning. I was the only guest at the time with I guess one more older pair as it was the end of seazone. This is a private pension run by a married couple, so there are only two people to do all the work. They did not run restaurant at that time, but I still got a tasty dinner. And I liked the rich breakfast of continental type, too. They lended me a map of local mountains, as I was not able to get one before journey. To me this accommodation enabled an important journey at the highest level of pleasantness imaginable in those remote areas of Poland deeply among the border mountains. Also the Weltina is a very good position to stay, as there are some shops and restaurants nearby, it is not completely the end of the world. The end begins right beyond it. This way I'd like to thank to the hosts for a perfect and pleasant stay!

We liked so many things that it’s hard to pick one. Great communication with the hosts. We were settled in very efficiently with an informative tour of the facilities. The property is new, well furbished, clean and quiet. Hosts were extremely friendly, accommodating and very helpful with hiking route planning and navigating around the area. Home-made food for breakfast was always fresh and delicious. We were made feel like at home. A visiting cat from the neighbours a is an extra attraction :-) Overall, strongly recommended!
