Lovely homestay with garden full off flowers ... our hosts was very friendly, welcoming and helpful .... always smiling ... rooms are small but so cute ... breakfast was simply, delicious, serve with amazing flower tea ... but we enjoyed both vietnamese dinner with them definitely ... we had the opportunity to cook one of them with Anna ... if you prefer accommodation in the mountains to a crazy city, I wholeheartedly recommend Tavan view homestay.

This property is set in the most beautiful part of the valley! The bungalow feels quiet and peaceful - and it is a delight to wake up and have breakfast looking at the valley and listening to the river. The rooms are simply but tastefully decorated in the local style - and the hot shower was a welcome surprise! The hostess was incredibly welcoming - she was responsive to our every ask, cooked fabulous meals for breakfast/dinner, and was easy to chat to for recommendations and advice about the area. We miss her already!

Amazing accomodating hosts. Hot showers! Clean bathrooms. Amazing view (when not foggy), nice breakfast (eggs one day, pancakes the next with coffee or tea), tents were cool, comfortable and had electric blankets making it a cosy stay. The bungalows also look very nice. They serve food for lunch/dinner if needed and are a short walk to some other restaurants and cafes. Also did our laundry and helped arrange taxis to/from Sapa for 250k.

Gorgeous views from the bungalow. Everything is new. Chanh was a wonderful host. She lit a camp fire in the evening and everyone mingled and drank around it. She gave us some free water for our journey. We booked a 2D1N homestay trek with someone else, but the accommodation was just a dingy smelly hostel with mattresses on the floor and not an authentic family experience. Chanh said she also does trekking and combined with stays at her bungalows for a much cheaper rate! Do ask upon booking.
