Only regret is I that we stayed there only one night as a transit point to Yangshuo ferry.

Serene Vale Inn Railway station free pick-up by 2 nights English and Spanish reception... I’ve been traveling around China for 5 months and this was my most memorable stay thanks to the lovely people. They really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and make it an enjoyable travel experience, from helping book tours to always being happy to chat. Bonus is the hotel connects to a running/biking trail (also leads straight to Reed Flute Cave) and the location is very convenient.

The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. In the evenings, when we returned, they would ask if we were hungry and offer us fresh fruit. they also gave us a free bed for my daughter. One particularly touching moment: one evening our daughter fell asleep, and my husband and I went out for dinner in the city. The receptionist, who had already finished her shift, stayed an extra hour just to make sure everything was okay — even though we hadn’t asked her to. Another time, they noticed on their own that there was a problem with the lighting in our room. While we were out, they informed us and immediately offered to move us to another room. Since our child was sleeping again that evening, they gave us two rooms to use at the same time. Breakfasts were always adapted to our requests. They gifted us a massage, arranged airport pick-up, and on our last day — when there was heavy rain and some of my things got slightly wet — they even gave us a discount on services. A super cozy place with true human warmth. Highly recommended! ❤️

Lakeside Inn Guilin Central has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Guilin. Lovely terrace, owner spoke good english and was very helpful and attentive, i was even invited to join his friends for dinner one night. The food was delicious and biiig portions.

Set just about a 5-minute drive from Reed Flute Cave, 2 km from the centre of Guilin City, The Beyond Villa Guilin Boutique Hotel sits close to Taohua River and is surrounded by greenery and silence... The villa is in a pretty quiet village, and it's convenient to take a taxi to the city centre. It's next to the amazing Reed flute cave as well. There are nice local restaurant and the price is reasonable. The villa is traditional Chinese style with tea table, calligraphy table,share kitchen and dining place... The owner is very kind to make tea ceremony for us. The butlers are so friendly and good English to assist us to arrange everything what we asked. I love the atmosphere right there, made me feel like home.
