Central, the River Bars and restaurant, Coffee Shops. They allowed me to use the GYM after normal hours in the evening.

Very nice hotel, quite centrally located. We had two rooms, very clean. Affordable and good value. Quiet. Moreover, Lampang has multiple landmarks for tourists, definitely worth a stopover.

Amazing experience in a small thai village. The owners son even came to hang out with me two nights before I even stayed there. Great home cooked food from his mom too. The surrounding areas and kayaking was just incredible. Lampang is such a gem overall.

There will be very interesting project openning nearby soon too! This placw is a heaven for people with pet(s) or who love animals.

Him doy muang pan resort ฮิมดอยเมืองปานรีสอร์ท has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Ban Sop Pan. There is a restaurant serving Asian cuisine, and free private parking is available. I would call it a farm stay, not a "resort". Seems like a side business for the coffee roastery on site. There's a cafe with great coffee (and beans to buy). We got delicious soup for breakfast. While the rooms aren't "5-Star" they are adequate for a short stay. The main reason we chose this place is the location. it is halfway between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, so if you're driving and want to avoid a long round trip from Chiang Mai to visit Wat Phra Phutthabat Sutthawat (amazing temple high on the mountain, much different from all the similarly looking temples of the north. It is visible from the terrace of your room) and Chae Son National Park and hot springs. The Lampang accommodations are out of the way. The rooms are small in size, facilities are simple. The room has floor-to-ceiling windows with a farmland view, and good air conditioning. There's a terrace with a table and seating outside of every room. The host pointed us to the great restaurant for dinner, overlooking the rice fields and serving very good food, about 2 km away.
