Dinner at the Woolshed was reasonably expensive, but absolutely delicious. Loved exploring the amazing art work and collections by Jeff Morgan at Hawker, beautiful Wilpena Pound & homestead, and the historic copper mine at Blinman. Plenty of walks around the property, well-marked and mapped. We also explored the campsites on the farm - great facilities! Eco Villas also looked gorgeous.

The cottage is just right, rustic, but had everything we needed to cook all meals (you have to bring all your food). Warm and cosy, and WiFi is available just a stones throw away.

We had appalling weather and the owner offered to escort us and others in convoy off the property along the 3.5km farm track back to the road, for which we were very grateful, given that there were so many running streams over the track. We really appreciated the concern and care shown.

It has it’s own drives to flinders ranges gorges on the property. Lovely sunsets and sunrises. Photographer’s playground. Birds, emus, kangas, windmill, old farm buildings.
