When we arrived the very happy friendly owner gave us an upgrade to a bigger room as he had a cancellation. So we had the garden room. It was really nice and modern and had illy coffee for the machine! The bed was mega comfortable and there was a sofa and TV for chilling. It was only 200m from the centre of town so we could wander down and stumble back later on. You can also pop out to Dartmoor in 10mins drive. Overall felt very happy and relaxed when we left.

Denise and Richard are fantastic hosts with nothing being too much trouble and we received the very best hospitality. Their beautiful home is a lovely place to stay with stunning views of the river. Thank you for such a lovely few days we shall certainly return.

Very friendly welcome by Johnathan and Jenny (who were both very lovely) Gave us lots of help information on the local area and things to do. Would highly recommend this as a lovely peaceful getaway in a gorgeous location surrounded lovely outstanding countryside. Thanks both we had a fabulous couple of days

Great secluded patio and grounds, and private parking. Brilliant communication from Jonathan, who couldn't do enough for us and had thought of everything. The delicious cream tea on arrival was a lovely surprise. We definitely want to return, and will hope for better weather next time so that we can fully enjoy the lovely outside areas and the local walks.

Denise provided a wonderful welcome spread upon our arrival. The care and attention to detail within the property, the bedrooms and the breakfast was exceptional. We were always comfortable and well fed! This was my father's first trip to England and he was so taken by the location and the B&B. We agree with his assessment that it was better than a five star hotel especially if you value a personal touch. We will definitely return.TamFamily with young children
