The Bonnie Badger features a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Gullane. Built in 19th century, this 5-star hotel is within 2.9 km of Aberlady Bay Beach and 1.3 km of Muirfield. The property is allergy-free and is located 1 km from Gullane Beach.

A wonderful hotel, staff were superb from arrival to departure, rooms are fabulous with luxurious beds and toiletries, clean towels every day whether needed or not. Only 10 mins walk from the hotel to a gorgeous sandy beach, and Gullane has a charming main street. We ate in the main restaurant and the food was amazing, and we used the main bar and the outside garden area and loved the service given and choice of food and drinks in both. Will definitely be back!

Staff were so helpful & polite. The two girls, who were working the morning we left were so honest, & came running over to our car with a pair of diamond earrings. The earrings weren't ours. But praise to them for being so honest.

Good hotel doing it's best to get back to normality after the decimation of COVID. The staff would be first to admit there's a way to go to achieve perfection but they're working hard at it.

the staff were exceptional- the most helpful, friendly and accommodating and really went above and beyond to help when I got stuck and extra night due to the train disruption. The rooms were immaculately clean and breakfast was brilliant - 5 star quality

The room was lovely. It was large, clean and comfortable. The evening meal was superb but unfortunately you could not say the same about breakfast. In the evening we had a lovely chat with the owner/ manager chap. He was very pleasant. The waiter was a bit surly but did his job well enough. Was disappointed that there was no bar even though it is advertised on the website. There was a very limited dinner menu, only 4 main courses on a set menu. Would probably not return which is a shame because this could be an amazing place.
