Superb reception area, breakfast area, range of food available for breakfast, extremely helpful staff at breakfast. The room was great. The reception staff were outstanding, especially the Argentinian lady who lives in the north of the country.

Fabulous hotel in a secluded country location yet only 10 minutes drive from Lindau island. Really beautiful grounds. Wonderful restaurant, stylishly elegant setting. The Michelin meal we ate there was not up to the standard I would have expected. It was fussily contrived Asian/European fusion food, which seems to be increasingly the fashion among trendy chefs. In my experience they usually manage to be inferior renditions of both cuisines. In our case, we found some of the offerings downright unpleasant.

Hotel Manager Sergio is extremely helpful and kind. I would rate 5 star to this property only because of him.

Excellent location. A block and a half from the old harbour and half a block from the main pedestrianised street. Chocolate awaited us. All inclusions were of good quality - tea, coffee, crockery and cutlery etc. coffee machine. Large dark tiled shower with large overhead shower. Classy! Chic!

Even though the check-in is automatic, there is staff around to answer questions. They are also very responsive by phone and e-mail, so 5 stars for the service. We stayed only 2 nights, and the room was cleaned in between. The kitchen is very well equipped - good for travellers who like to cook and save money. Our room was surprisingly big, more like a flat. The bed was extra large and comfortable. Amenities machines in the hall and spacious lockers outside (which we could access after the checkout) are also a plus.
