Offering a sun terrace and spa centre, Hotel VILLINO is situated in Lindau-Bodolz. The hotel has a sauna and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Absolute gem of a hotel in an off the beaten path location. My husband and I came to their restaurant this past summer and loved it so much that we came back to stay! The hotel is the perfect size. Not too big, but not too small either. You feel like you’re staying at your family’s home. Everyone is very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel rooms are beautifully furnished, very clean and have great amenities. As for the restaurant - it is Michelin rated, so it’s fantastic. We pride ourselves on being foodies and came back to eat at the restaurant again. We managed to book a massage for this stay, which was equally wonderful.

This 5-star superior hotel overlooks Lake Constance in the Petershausen district of Konstanz. Probably the best breakfast you can get in all of Konstanz.

The Hotel Bayerischer Hof is in Lindau, directly on Lake Constance. It offers large rooms, an outdoor swimming pool (open in summer months) and wonderful views of the lake. Deserves the 5 star ratings, because my mother-in-law was extremely happy.

Steigenberger Inselhotel has a restaurant, fitness centre, a bar and garden in Konstanz. Boasting a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Great location! Historical building right on the lake. Excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bar is open and they also serve delicious food. They have lake access in case anyone wants to swim and comfortable chairs for tanning/relaxing by the lake. I wish we could stay longer. Everything was so relaxing. Walking distance from the main train station, the marina and the old town.
