Set in tropical gardens in Palenque, this hotel has 2 outdoor pools and a Mayan-style spa. Located in a collection of charming thatched buildings, rooms feature satellite TV and a private bathroom. We really liked our stay Villa Mercedes. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool area and hammock by the pond were great. Really enjoyed the sounds of frogs and cows in the distance. The bathroom didn’t have any fan, that’s all I can think of as a minus.

Even though you can see bugs and mosquitoes in the halls, there aren't any inside the room. AC works fine and hot water pressure is perfect. The blinds inside the room help it become very dark, so you can have a good rest at night.
