Beautiful hotel in the restored historic building of the Cistercian monastery. The staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. There is a lovely warm welcome from the moment of check in to the moment of check out. The staff in the breakfast room are very kind and provide everything needed for a very enjoyable breakfast. It is situated just a few minutes walk from the bus terminus, which makes it easily accessible from Lisbon. We were joined by our son and his family for one night as they were travelling to Porto for their flight home. They had a beautiful room which was very large with a luxurious bathroom. They are looking forward to going again. Alcobaça is a very relaxing place with gorgeous restaurants and delicious food. I would highly recommend Montebelo Mosteira. I’m already looking forward to a return visit. Thank you all very much for making our holiday a wonderful experience.

We loved every minute of our stay and were very sad we were only staying one night. Angela and her team are incredibly attentive and welcoming. We felt like we were staying with family or friends! The room was so clean and well presented, very comfortable bed and loved the decor and nice homely touches. Some lovely outdoor terraces for the guests to lounge in too. We also had dinner in the restaurant on arrival which was our favourite meal in Portugal so far! Everything is so beautifully cooked and flavourful! Then the breakfast was just as great the next morning! Angela took care of us throughout our stay and we are so grateful for the helpful tips and suggestions for our onward journey. We can only hope we get to stay here again!

Casa de São Lourenço - Burel Panorama Hotel - member of Relais & Châteaux se nachází v destinaci Manteigas a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, terasou a barem. The location and the views are outstanding. The hotel offers an afternoon tea which is a big bonus. The guided walks they provide are nice to do — we made two different routes on two different days and both were wonderful.
