This hotel is located right onto an oceanic beach, next to an 18-hole championship golf course. Guests can access an extensive spa equipped with 8 treatment and massage rooms. Free WiFi is available. The staff were all very friendly and helpful . We felt at home in the hotel . We loved our large suite it was superb only thing bad weather . Food we had at the hotel and the golf club house was lovely and breakfast I loved it wide variety of fruits cheeses breads eggs muesli etc and the beds very comfortable and excellent pillows . Definitely will come back again .

This 5-star hotel is situated in a historic palace. Quinta das Lágrimas offers 3 room types: Palace Rooms once accommodated the Duke of Wellington and Garden Rooms overlook the botanical garden. A wonderful time, an elegant place to stay, wherever u go, books and seats can be found, very casual and pleasant, top food, all of the staff are so friendly and considerate, we will definitely come back again.

The staff and facilities at this property were wonderful. We enjoyed talking with friends in the library over wine and ended our stay enjoying the pool and spa facilities. For the price, this property greatly exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend.

Angela and her husband and team make you feel like you are family, feels so welcoming! Great stay in every way, wonderfull and comfortabel rooms, very clean, freshly prepared and very tasty breakfast, marvelous dinner all very good quality and so well prepared by the chef/ owner. We did not want to leave, and for 100% will be back for more! Just go there to have a lovely dinner, or better yet, also book a room!

Manteigas şehrinde, Serra da Estrela Doğa Parkı noktasına 25 km mesafede bulunan Casa de São Lourenço - Burel Panorama Hotel - member of Relais & Châteaux tesisi bahçe, ücretsiz özel park yeri, teras... I wanted to visit this hotel ever since I saw it on Design Hotels and on Instagram, so I booked a specific room and we traveled from Lisbon for it. Check-in was seamless and even though the room I wanted wasn’t available at first, the staff were very professional, patient and polite. They showed me the room and even offered to have it cleaned quickly so we could take it. However, another equivalent mirror room turned out to be one I liked even more, so we stayed with the initially allocated room. Excellent service from breakfast to dinner in their restaurant. I had expected less because I saw some feedback on Booking about portion sizes, but everything exceeded expectations: food was great, portions were not small at all and again the staff were very helpful, attentive and caring without ever being intrusive. We didn’t try the spa or the swimming pool, but those also looked great. The fireplaces throughout the hotel have a cozy, wooden smell. Breakfast had a great selection, including a separate à-la-carte menu. I especially liked the baked apples with cinnamon. And of course, the room I booked was beautifully designed, exactly what I hoped to see, with a very comfortable bed, crisp bedsheets, a balcony view, concrete walls and a glass wall. The weather was quite cold and the staff immediately turned the heater up, even brought an additional one without hesitation. To conclude, the only regret is that we didn’t stay longer because we had a flight back. I will definitely return if I’m in the area again. Thank you for your service.

Our stay at the Convento do Seixo was exceptional from the moment of our arrival (thanks, Flavio, from reception, for your dedication and kindness). A perfectly restored former 16th-century convent that preserves its historical essence without sacrificing modern comfort. The rooms were spacious, elegant, and very quiet, making them ideal for unwinding. We also enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool, which offered views of the surrounding mountains. It is also a Spa where I received a repairing circulatory massage (thanks, Vera, for your skills). The staff were very friendly and attentive at all times, always ready to help. The breakfast was excellent. The restaurant had excellent service (thanks, Cauan, for your attention and patience), well-presented dishes and surprising flavours. Undoubtedly, a place to repeat and recommend. Ideal for a quiet getaway with charm with your partner.
