The staff were wonderful, the wine barrel experience was first class and we had a great dinner on the balconey of the restaurant with beautiful views.

Situated in a former 18th-century wine estate, this luxury hotel overlooks vineyards and the Douro Valley. The ambience was amazing. Marco at the reception was very kind and helpful, he made us very comfortable, and the rooms were very tidy and well equipped with all amenities.

Prenovljeno plemiško posestvo iz 19. stoletja se nahaja na hribu s pogledom na terasaste vinograde v dolini Douro, ki je pod Unescovo zaščito, in reko Douro, ter ponuja terapevtske spa tretmaje,... the breakfast was exceptional. we appreciated all of the healthy and delicious options. the rooms and common spaces were lovely. property grounds exquisite. staff were extremely attentive and helpful. We very much enjoyed the managers cocktails and speaking w/ the gentleman when choosing our wines by the glass in the tasting room.

Primely located along the bank of the Douro River, this 5-star hotel has stunning views over the valley. This was an exceptional hotel. Best parking we've had so far in Portugal. Our room had a balcony with a gorgeous view of the river. Breakfast was to die for!! I purchased two beautiful pieces of jewelry made by a local artist that were on display in the hotel lobby as well!!!

The MW Douro Wine & Spa offers 1 restaurant ( D ' Vino Flavors & Soul ) and 1 Cocktail Bar lounge ( Boho Mixology Cocktail Bar ) a Wellness & Spa center with sauna, turkish bath, indoor pool and... Spa and pool were amazing. Breakfast was very delicious. Location of the hotel was perfect.
