The staff were so helpful and our dog Ted was made very welcome. Beautiful location and the hotel facilities were very modern & clean.

Primely located along the bank of the Douro River, this 5-star hotel has stunning views over the valley. Marta and Raquel welcomed us at check in. they were most hospitable and professional! Marta served us your famous port wine upon arrival. she gave us helpful with suggestions re sights to visit. we enjoyed the full view of the Duoro River from our balconies of our premium deluxe rooms. your restaurant staff were friendly, for example, Bruno Ribeiro, Justin Timberlake, lookalike, service's was attentive and responsive. we enjoyed our meals. breakfast was delicious as well. the rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. bathroom was modern and spotless. towels were soft and white. free indoor parking was secured with easy access. the location is private and serene. highly recommend.
