Hotel Calabona was an excellent choice for us for an extended weekend. The hotel is a real 4-star, classic, well-maintained hotel. The staff is extraordinarily supportive and that makes the difference. We were helped for things that were not necessarily the responsibility of the staff and it would have been very easy to say I don't know, it's not possible (reception, bistro). But people wanted to help sincerely and we appreciate it a lot (I would suggest the gentleman with the mustache, from the reception, night shift, to a bonus for the employee of the month, for his attitude and support). The breakfast is ok and we really liked that there are fruit juicers available for self-made fresh ones. The shuttle bus is free to the center (the cost is borne by the restaurant at Sepanto where hotel customers have a 10% discount) in certain time intervals and the driver is very kind. The beach is intimate and quiet, without music, only the sea can be heard, with a lifeguard during the day. There are rocks on the shore and it is easier to enter the water with water shoes, but it is also ok without). The massage is excellent. The rooms are clean and the mattresses are comfortable, plus full blackout curtains. Parking in the hotel yard (with payment) and free behind the hotel near the beach (within the limit of available places). Overall the quality/price ratio is honest, we will definitely come back. The transfer to/from AHO airport takes about 50 min by public bus, which has 1 stop in the center and 25 min by taxi/uber (50 eur +/-)

Very friendly and personalized welcome on arrival by very professional staff,wonderful room well furbished and large balcony with sea view . Great rooftop swimming pool. . We felt as good as home in this well situated quiet hotel. Parking available for 15 euros a night. Well equipped fitness room and play room for children with ping pong. Beach just across the road. Wonderful full breakfast and free use of courtesy room provided to shower before departure if your flight or ship leaves in the evening. I have rarely seen that in my 45 years of travelling. Thank you! We will definitely come back.

Amazing! This place really felt like a home away from home for us. We found all the staff fantastic and really helpful. The location is perfect as a bit out of the hectic town, but only a few mins on the bus in. The hotel was perfect and the buffet breakfast and dinners were so great too! Little shop was very handy, resort had everything you could need - We will definitely be returning!

We liked everything. We got a sea-view room and it was beautiful. the private beach is very clean and has nice sandy access to the sea. We liked the access to the sailing club and there is easy access to public sailing and beach clubs for food. Staff were very nice and polite as well.

Beautiful location with a breathtaking view. Fantastic pool facilities and beach access. Clean comfortable room. Great breakfast. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel has such a feeling of calm and a short walk to the restaurants and cafes in Fertilia. Easy access by bus to Alghero. Perfect relaxing holiday for a family with a young child. Really enjoyed our stay! The bed was super comfy and we finally got some great sleep. We loved hanging out and having drinks by the pool, definitely a highlight. It was cleaned regularly, which we really appreciated. WiFi was strong throughout the property, which was a nice bonus. If you get the chance, have dinner there - everything was made with super fresh, local ingredients. We’d definitely come back!
