The hotel is not in the centre, but there is a bus stop nearby. The staff is wonderful, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Great and varied breakfast, from cereal, walnuts and almonds, to fruit, eggs, cheese & meat and bread and sweet pastries and cakes. The hotel also has a restaurant on site for lunch and dinner. Large and spacious room, comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Excellent WiFi. I would definitely stay here again.

The most generous and accommodating hosts ever. They gave us a room to practice in. (Musicians with a gig that night) and parking for the other band members. So generous. All of the staff are terrific. Espresso in the morning to take up to the room for my wife. The room is great. We come to Varese to play a couple of times a year and previously stayed at Albergo Crystal but this is much better.

Firstly the property's location is very close to the city center. Our room was super comfortable and clean. The breakfast had many choices. The staff was very friendly, and special thanks to the receptionist, Costas, who was very helpful.

We visited Cantello for a friend's wedding and other guests that stayed at the venue were jealous of our spacious and luxurious little spot in Residenza il Gelsomino. Very nice atmosphere in the garden terrace. Romantic and lively combined. The rooms are more modern and interestingly furnished with art et cetera. There is a small pool on the roof. Perfect location if you are entering Italy from Switzerland, want to have a great meal, experience Italian hospitality. We stayed for only one night so I don't know what you can do in the area but the hotel and restaurant are great.
