The family-run 4-star hotel is located directly on the South Styrian Wine Route. You’ll be staying in the center of Gamlitz, just a 2-minute walk from the main square. The hotel was beautiful and quiet, had gorgeous gardens surrounding it, purely peaceful. The staff were so kind and professional. The restaurant and food was delicious and the wine selection was excellent. The wellness area was supreb.

The location was absolutely beautiful - poised on top of a hill you could see all the rolling hills in the background. The breakfast was amazing, we loved the buffet and being able to order additional items a la carte. We also enjoyed using the outdoor heated pool and the sauna facilities - was perfect for a cozy fall day.

The house is located in a quite town with a avery easy pace. The host greeted us and explained everything clearly, even though not entirely in English. The facilities are very convenient and has everything we need. The lawn is always tidy and there's plenty of space for children to play. Bedrooms with rustic yet home like feel. Owner catered for all our needs including the cot that was the best we had so far away from home. The kitchen was very useful for us as a family with two little kids. Easy and comfortable cooking and dinning, coffee and an evening drink of wine. Two super clean bathrooms. There's a hot tub outside, however we hadn't have the chance to use. The town has a swimming pool nearby (5 min drive). We couldn't have asked for more. Many thanks to the Arnfelser's.

This hotel was in the middle of a winery. The staff were so welcoming upon our arrival and gave us many insights of where to visit in the surrounding area. We hired mountain bikes which I would recommend as a great way to see the surrounding countryside which was absolutely stunning. The hotel breakfast choice is one of the best we have had anywhere. The room and facilities are first class and I would highly recommend a short break if ever visiting Austrian wineries.
