It is situated outside Eisenach, but there's a good bus service if you don't want to drive, and our hosts were very helpful about suggesting things to do nearby, and how to get to them.

The host was very helpful and friendly, and she even helped me with some of my luggage to the taxi when the taxi guy arrived. I also appreciate that she spoke to the taxi guy on my behalf, considering my German language is limited. She is amazing!

This quietly-located apartment is situated directly across from the river Gera and features a view of the Krämer Bridge. This apartment has everything!! It was modern, well equipped,clean,convenient,& has a deck by the river. We enjoyed people watching while drinking wine on the deck! It’s a short walk to many restaurants,cafes, & grocery stores. The Old Town section of the city is also within walking distance. The owner was easy to contact and made sure that someone was there to greet us. We even had a video call with him while he was thousands of miles away!

The breakfast was delicious

Set in a wooden building, this ecologically built hotel in central Weimar is less than 1 minutes’ walk from the Goethe House Museum. It also offers a rooftop terrace with a sandpit. Excellent location. Exceptionally friendly staff - both the staff while checking in and checking out were very polite and friendly. They were providing very helpfull information too. They happily provided milk the kids (supermarket was closed) and recommended great places for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay there. Our only regret was that our stay was very short.
