Located in Cuenca, 1.8 km from Cuenca Train Station and 300 metres from Hanging Houses of Cuenca, Luxury Danna Plaza Mayor offers air conditioning. The location was excellent. We could walk everywhere very comfortably. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed.

Tierras de Moya features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Los Huertos. Providing a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as a hot tub. Very comfortable, welcoming and relaxing. The food was delicious- local home-cooked food. The room was wonderful - up in the loft, with heaps of space. Beautifully renovated old building. The owners were very accommodating and kind, helping us deal with the car hire company when our car broke down.

Parador de Alarcón is an 8th-century Moorish castle, set next to the Júcar River. It is located above the Medieval village of Alarcón, and offers free public parking on site. Arriving at the Alarcon village was like something out of a story book with the castle being the main character. It was such a treat to stay in a building so beautifully preserved. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were cosy and warm and the food at the restaurant was excellent. If your budget allows it, book your stay in the tower for the whole experience. Alarcón is a pretty village with a selection of restaurants and bars.

Situated in Belmonte in the Castilla-La Mancha region, Insula Barataria has a garden. Very clean and comfortable. Very friendly host. We missed the famous breakfast though as we arrived on a weekday, but the host gave us a very good recommendation in the city.

Boasting a terrace, bar and views of city, Hotel La Casa del Canónigo is set in Caracenilla, 42 km from Cuenca Train Station. We passed through biking from Madrid to Cuenca…Caracenilla was a well-timed stopover, and La Casa del Canónigo provided an excellent place to rest and relax before continuing on. Thanks to our host, Marta, for welcoming us into this lovely historic property and guiding us on where to eat in the small town. Highly recommend!
