The location was excellent. We could walk everywhere very comfortably. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed.

The room was wonderful - up in the loft, with heaps of space. Beautifully renovated old building. The owners were very accommodating and kind, helping us deal with the car hire company when our car broke down.

The huge Alarcón Reservoir is near to the hotel. The city of Cuenca is 80km away. Arriving at the Alarcon village was like something out of a story book with the castle being the main character. It was such a treat to stay in a building so beautifully preserved. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were cosy and warm and the food at the restaurant was excellent. If your budget allows it, book your stay in the tower for the whole experience. Alarcón is a pretty village with a selection of restaurants and bars.

It was a very nice hotel room and Antonio was very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was excellent!
