Situated in Bodmin, 31 km from Newquay Train Station, Bodmin Jail Hotel features accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We liked the room size and the bathroom size and fixtures and the very cool architectural adaptation of the space. Everyone has done a great job and the hotel felt brand new (it is almost four years old). Breakfast buffet and menu combination was excellent and the service was cheerful. A perfect hotel experience. Also, the staff were very hospitable and helpful.

Situated in Penzance, within 200 metres of Penzance Promenade Beach and 6.9 km of St Michael's Mount, The Summer House features accommodation with water sports facilities and free WiFi as well as free... Everything! Trevor and Kristin are delightful hosts. we were plenty close enough to walk to the train and buses. we walked to Mousehole and back. the bed was comfortable. the bathroom was large and clean. we enjoyed treats and drinks in the lovely garden each evening. breakfast is superb! I tried just about everything on the menu. Trevor’s Greek yogurt and compote was delicious. the Hollandaise was perfect. best bacon we have had on our 14 days in the UK. gorgeous poached eggs. And even the toast and jams were special! They made us feel very welcome and go the extra…

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Penarth Guest House is set in Par, 2.3 km from Crinnis Beach and 2.7 km from Shorthorn Beach. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We were made very welcome on arrival. The room was lovely with a very nice shower unit. Comfy bed and a nice hospitality tray for tea / coffee etc. Breakfasts were very good and nicely made. Everything was well thought out and spotlessly clean. We'd not been to this specific part of Cornwall and the owners gave us some recommendations for places to visit, all of which turned out to be good choices. "Charlestown" is very close and is a stunning little coastal town with one of the most inspiring harbours we've seen yet. The more recent episodes of "Poldark" were filmed there as we understand and it has the right look, with real sailing ships moored. Parking was easy and the views were literally stunning. We visited both nights that we were staying. First night we ate at "The Rashleigh Arms" and enjoyed the food there. The harbour is surrounded with a number of little eating and drinking places so "al-fresco" was definitely the thing and we ate at one of them the second night. A lovely experience. We also went to "St Mawes". A lovely place again. Not to be missed. We were lucky with the weather .... wall-to-wall sun and blue skies but Cornwall can be lovely at any time. Penarth was a nice place to stay and we would do again.

Rosemullion Hotel in Falmouth provides adults-only accommodation provides luggage storage space and free WiFi. Great location with easy access to beach and cafe. Short walk to quay where most restaurants are. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Gail is 2nd generation owner and has lived here almost her entire life. Gail takes great pride in the hotel and runs it very efficiently. Gail has a great staff who have worked for her for many years which is a testament to their loyalty and speaks well of the management. Marie our server couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Karen cooks exceptional full English breakfast that was absolutely delicious. Many other breakfast options hit and cold too. We stayed in room 8 which has a great sea view, private balcony with deck chairs and a very comfortable King Size bed that ensured a great nights sleep. The private bathroom is large and well supplied with robes and slippers across the hall. There are stairs to room 8 but well worth the effort. The Rosemullion checked all the boxes for us and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay another week next time we are back in Cornwall

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Pengelly Farmhouse B&B is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Truro, 17 km from Newquay Train Station. Everything was quality….from the appearance, to the decor, to the bedding, to the food. A beautiful oasis in the country. Our host greeted us warmly at the door and we felt we could rely on him if we needed him at anytime in the country.

Offering sea views, The Penellen guest accommodation room only in Hayle provides accommodation, a garden and a patio. Complimentary WiFi is available. Lovely warm welcome, made to feel at home straight away. Location is stunning, not a bad way to unwind after a day of work. As someone who travels a lot for work, i've never seen anywhere as clean. Breakfast was also lovely, could not recommend enough now tempted to visit for my holidays!

Boasting a shared lounge and views of sea, Honeycombe House is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Mevagissey, 300 metres from Polkirt Beach. We had such a lovely stay at Honeycombe House. Susie is a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. The B & B is at the top of the hill overlooking the harbor giving a spectacular view of the village and harbor. Our room had a balcony - a nice addition. The bathroom, kettle, towels and bed were just great. Breakfast was nicely done. We had fresh fruit and my salmon & crumpet (complete with secret, royal ingredient) was very nice. Cereals, toast, preserves, and coffee were plentiful and of good quality. We look forward to a return visit.
