The breakfast was also one of the best I have had with a good mix of Indonesian, Javanese and western food. Being directly off Malioboro Street you also stay in the center of town with all sights at your doorstep. I can’t wait to go back.

Some notable staff are Riyan, Rahmat, Aby, and dava They have helped me from tech issues on the TV (connecting my ps5 to the TV) to requesting a shuttle and knowledge about the area and where to to go super helpful every one was helpful but the ones above I have spent time with and have been extra kind to me and other guests.

The owners have made a really beautiful place with the architecture, art pieces, plants and water features. The hotel owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. We were in Jepara looking at the locally made furniture (wow) and the introductions from the hotel owners made it enjoyable and productive. We've stayed in some lovely places and the Blue Garden is outstanding.

The relaxed atmosphere. The colonial architecture and decor. The floor tiles were amazing. The staff were more than brilliant. Facilities top class. They decorated the hotel with, by my estimate, $40,000 worth of Christmas decorations and the hotel played soft Christmas carols as background music. You could not help but find yourself humming along.
