It all started because of that guy named Jame Bond. My wife was captivated by the scenes of riding a motorcycle and cruising through the town, and in the end, suddenly I found myself in Matera with my wife. Maria (if I got the name wrong, I am sorry!! ) who introduced us to the accommodation and the entire Matera area is a perfect 11 out of 10! We had a delightful time exploring the Matera area in the evening. Now, this is a story that only applies to Koreans (and I want to clarify that I'm referring to South Korea, not North Korea ). When we started craving Korean food, we heard about a restaurant called "Chimac" here, so we decided to visit. This experience was also very refreshing. If anyone is curious about Korean food, be sure to visit this place.

Location of this hotel is perfect. Literally right off one of the main streets in close proximity to many restaurants. Also, basically on the path to the Piazza Madonna de Idris with stunning views. Despite the business around, you can't hear a thing in the room! We interacted with three people from the staff and all were wonderful, gave us amazing recommendations, and booked a dinner reservation too. I would say this has been by far the most interesting, unique and best room I've ever stayed at.

Set inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, Corte San Pietro is housed in a renovated historical building carved out of stone. It offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi throughout. Everything! It was more than expected.

The staff were fabulous. I was very stressed from travel problems when we arrived and the receptionist was so understanding and helpful and made a spread for us to eat. We were unsure if we were going to be able to get to a gig in the evening as so delayed from travel (the reason for going to Matera!) and she did everything she could to get us a taxi there, even intimating she would drive us herself if necessary! It was my birthday and they placed a bottle of fizz and 2 glasses in the room when they found out. The hotel was very peaceful, beautifully designed, with a perfect pool and where the staff would come out to you to ask of anything you wanted. The breakfast selection was wonderful, faultless, and they offer snacks in the day. This is a family run hotel where the personalised attention shows. It is 10 minutes walk from the stunning Matera town which has to be seen to be believed. Our room was spotless and with beautiful features - it faced the back with no real view but other larger rooms did have much more space and balconys.

Most exceptional place I have ever been to. From the moment you enter the place it takes you the most unique spiritual experience. Staff are beyond accommodating. David, Julia and everyone is absolutely amazing. You walk through the place and they take you to the underground area with the most incredible pool and spa. You are welcomed with the most amazing spiritual performance by Alessandro and Daphne . Spiritual of life and death . True masterpiece. Room felt like I was transformed into another era just as they planned. Breakfast mouth watering and just enough to make you happy. My experience is one of a kind and I will certainly be coming back to Moyseion. Grazie mille ❤️

I loved my stay in Lo Stemma. Great location, the rooms, nice and very friendly people. Extraordinary breakfasts and beautiful terrace.

Terletak di Viggianello, Il Castello dei Principi Sanseverino mempunyai lounge bersama, teras, dan bar. Wonderful location with fantastic views, very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. The rooms are furnished with antique furniture which suits the castle. The evening menu was a 4 course set menu, but the staff did their best to accommodate gluten-free requirements. We did not find it difficult to find the castle as some other reviews have said.

Mempunyai teras, bar, dan pemandangan kota, PIANELLE RESORT terletak di Matera, 3 menit jalan kaki dari Casa Grotta nei Sassi. We love their attention to details! This resort was built surround a private sassi and i must say, we had an best experience staying in it. Will choose to stay here again if we want to experience cave living in luxury. One of our bucket list ticked! 3 nights is not enough for us. :)
