Located in Dolceacqua, Talking Stones is characterised by exposed stone walls in all rooms. It has a shared terrace offering panoramic views of Doria Castle, 400 metres away. The Talking Stones building has been delightfully renovated to feature the original stones of the old village house. The rooms are a little quirky (in a good way) due to the old building and was nicely furnished and comfortable. We were on the second floor and the stairs are quite steep. Our breakfast was served by Stefano and it was plentiful with yoghurt, fruit, eggs, bread, croissant and cake. We recommend you also eat at the restaurant around the corner called CASAeBOTTEGA.

Lido Resort is located next to the beach in Finale Ligure, 26 km from Savona and a 10-minute drive from Pietra Ligure. It features a private beach area. Free WiFi is available throughout. I loved the location and my beautiful room on the eastern corner of the building with sunrise view out of my bedroom window and sunset views off the balcony. Just magnificent!!

With its beachfront location in Finale Ligure, Hotel Boncardo offers a restaurant, free WiFi and sea-view rooms with a balcony and terrace. The centre of Finale Ligure is 1 km from this hotel. This place was perfect! It's right across from the beach. You do have to pay extra to access the beach, but the hotel is very upfront about that. The staff were incredibly friendly and the rooms were sparkling clean. There were several delicious options at the breakfast buffet. I would definitely stay here again!

Overlooking Baia del Silenzio bay, Hotel Helvetia is 20 metres from both private and public beaches. We had an incredible stay at this hotel. We loved the authentic charm, the splendid location, and most of all the excellent and heart warming service of the staff. The people of the front desk took care of our flat tire, releasing us of all our worries. Francesco, the maître d’hôtel, and his team served us breakfast and dinner with the excellence of a three star restaurant, sprinkled with lots of Italian charm and playfulness. The dinners at the Vistamare restaurant are exceptionally delicious - the chef has golden fingers!
