Relaxing in a hot bath under the open sky, surrounded by stunning nature and a sense of complete seclusion, was truly a unique experience. We were incredibly lucky to be the only guests in the entire hotel during our stay, so we had both outdoor baths entirely to ourselves. Both breakfast and dinner were exceptional. Each meal was an assortment of different Japanese dishes that would be difficult to discover and try on your own. Everything was prepared and presented to the highest standard, and the kaiseki-style serving made it feel even more special. And finally, staying in such a grand traditional Japanese room was unforgettable. It felt as if we were living in one of the palaces we had been visiting throughout Japan.

I really loved the public bath on 18th floor, very relaxing in japanese way. Not sure I used my private shower once... Laundry service is a very good plus. I did not intend to use it but it was necessary after all. If only people who use it would be civilized enough to withdraw their stuff once the cycle is over. Staff is polite, helpful and speak english quite easy (most of them).
