We did not know about Maria Felix before we came but googled her life and found it interesting. The pool was lovely and we had it all to ourselves. Our bedroom was spacious and beautifully decorated. There was a very attractive breakfast restaurant five minutes walk from the hotel. La Teserita and a lovely restaurant in the main square where we had the best meal we have had in Mexico. Plenty of room in the street to park. Alamos and the hotel are wonderful!

Room was very well equipped for Mexico with fridge/freezer,coffee maker,spare toothbrush,razor....Ate at restaurant for supper.Meal was good,little lacking on ambiance but i wasn't staying for that. Price was great and just off the highway we were travelling. Parking felt secure which is needed if driving about Mexico.

Even the guy who operates the gate was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and just what I needed each time. I was making a round trip to the States and stayed there for the first time on my way North, so I booked it on the way South, as well. I was exhausted and needed a layover day, so I added another day at this delightful place. I will recommend it to others and will visit the next time I make the long drive.
