Casa Morey is located in Iquitos, facing the Itaya River. It offers spacious rooms with elegant décor and free Wi-Fi. An American breakfast is served daily. The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was simple but delicious, and the pool is a great addition. The road around Casa Morey is currently in construction, therefore there were no moto-taxis around, and we enjoyed the quietness. The house looks like a museum, and it also has a little museum room inside. The whole experience was amazing. For solo travelers - this is a very safe housing.

Victoria Regia Hotel & Suites offers an outdoor pool on the terrace with views of the city, just 5 blocks from the Plaza de Armas and the historic centre of Iquitos. We liked the room (nice and clean), breakfast, the staff was friendly. There's a restaurant right next to the hotel (it seems like it is a part of it) - we ate dinner there and the food was delicious. The hotel kept our suitcases for a couple of days while we were in the jungle.
