Even though we were early to check in, they checked us in 2 hours earlier than normal check in time and they gave us a voucher to use it at the rooftop bar while we were waiting for the room to be prepared. Our flight was at 5:30 pm but a late check out wasn't possible but they gave us a voucher to have a drink at the rooftop bar again.

Jetzt zu den Angestellten: Wir sind schon viel gereist und haben viele nette Leute kennengelernt aber so lovely Angestellte und auch Einheimische wie hier in El Nido haben wir noch nie erlebt! Speziell möchten Wir Justin und Rica von der Rezeption danken. Sie waren immer für uns da wenn wir Hilfe benötigten. Sie sind einfach so unglaublich nett und authentisch! Dann möchten wir auch Genelyn und Eliser vom Hotelrestaurant „Sunmai“ einen grossen Dank aussprechen ! ❤️ Ihr wahrt einfach unglaublich! Wir fühlten Uns so happy mit Euch! Danke euch beiden so sehr! 🙏🏾 Wir hoffen, wir sehen euch alle in ein paar Jahren wieder, denn wir kommen bestimmt zurück! Es war einfach traumhaft!!

Das Buko Beach Resort ist eine Unterkunft am Strand mit einem Außenpool in Corong Corong, El Nido. WLAN ist in allen Bereichen kostenlos verfügbar. The staff, the rooms and the care during my entire stay truly made my trip! Unfortunately, I travelled during a time when terrible weather was expected (nothing anyone can control, it’s July, and knowing I was travelling during an off-peak season, I expected this to happen) and also experienced an injury on my first day (something I did NOT plan on experiencing, haha), and was pretty much stuck at the property during the entirety in my time at El Nido, I retreated mostly to my room. I gave a heads up to the staff days before that my flight and arrival at the accommodation would be earlier than expected, and they were gracious enough to have me wait in one of the rooms while my accommodation was getting ready. I commend the staff, from the front desk to the resto, to the staff from the spa, and everyone else in between for helping me out during my trip. From getting me a tricycle to the nearest hospital after hearing about my injury to assisting me over the little things despite the storm during my trip. I really felt the alaga/care and I appreciate everyone’s help and assurance during what would be such a stressful time for myself as I was travelling solo this time around. Buko Beach Resort really made it feel like home, from the beautiful rooms, and the hardworking people that make up the resort; they were the silver lining in my trip and I’m so thankful! I can’t wait to return with my family this time, when I’m physically able and when the sun’s out.
