This was an unexpected gem on our journey through northern India. Communication was friendly and promptly answered. We arrived late at night to welcoming staff and a unique tent suite, and the kitchen had remained open for us so we could have dinner. Each of the tents have full amenities with smart appliances and the entire property was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was served at the table outside of our tent, and the table was moved so we could enjoy the sunshine amidst the mango and lemon trees. There is treated water on site that guests can help themselves to. We were able to spend time at the river just outside the gate, and at the adventure park on the other side of the river. I trust that Bipin and his staff are dedicated to lessening their impact on the environment. My child and I felt comfortable and very well cared for, and wish we could have stayed longer.

These spacious tents are not located in the Fort premises but in the camp 40 km away at the foot of private sand dunes. Just an amazing location. It’s such a special experience to stay in the court and sit on a lovely quiet terrace above all the chaos.

The decor of the restaurant, hotel room with Sita player in the hotel lobby are just beyond all expectations. The staffs who served us are polite and detailed. They put "welcome" in my native language and it was such a heartwarming surprise! The staff also left some small gifts that I will treasure for a long time! I have to mention the puppeteer, Lucky, in the hotel. He was performing along with his cousin with great singing and music, and the most interesting puppet shows I've ever seen. Lucky is a passionate, humorous and talented artist and young man who had brought us a memorable night on September 29. A recently renovated chalet in Sāngla, Shepherd's Lore Camps & Resort offers outdoor fireplace, private parking and sports facilities. The property has river and garden views. The rooms were very nice. Jia Ji & Kiran were quite hospitable. The food was very homely.
