The place is great situated in between Onimichi and Imabari, exactly in the middle of Shimanami Kaido cycling route. Good place to stay if you take 2 days instead of 1 say for the Shimanami Kaido. The neighborhood is also nice and close to the shore. The owner, Taka, and his wife both are very welcoming and friendly. He even went above and beyond to assist and help me. It definitely exceeded my expectations. He also recommended a place to eat, places around Japan to visit, etc. If I ever visit this area again, I would definitely stay there again. The sauna was so relaxing after a day of travel. We went in after sunset so we didn’t take advantage of the cold plunge pool, but I bet that would be nice during the day. They gave us our breakfast in a picnic basket along with a mat to sit on and 2 little tables to place our food on. It was a really beautiful way to start the day. The food for the bbq was really generous and delicious too.
