He helped with the organized tours and politely tolerated my naïve and clueless enthusiasm towards Japan. He is a great artist who even let me enjoy listening to him playing the violin. The accommodation was clean and very well equipped. It was a culturally enriching and memorable experience to stay at this guesthouse.

Although the room was very small, the adjacent private onsen was awesome and also the staff was very helpful and provided shuttle transfer to the next train station for arrival and departure and also during our stay for day trips. We spent four nights at the place and had a great time, taking trips to Kagoshima, Izumi, spent a day hiking in the surrounding hills and recovered at the onsen in the evenings.
