Really convenient location for those hiking the Nakasendo trail. I didn't realize it at the time of booking, but the trail runs right through the campground. We had a lot of fun cooking dinner and breakfast. The setup makes it really convenient to just do the fun parts of cooking, and cleanup is really easy as well in the main lodge. The tents are very spacious and have heaters incase it gets cold at night. Additionally, our tent had a great view which overlooked the valley and mountains.

The food was some of the best we've had so far in 2 weeks across Japan staying at similar priced Onsens. The baths were amazing. The tech in the Onsen uses your mobile phone for QR code access to the property, to contact staff and to see when the baths were available - it was very convenient.

The property was absolutely amazing. The rooms were so comfortable, stylish decor and warm. The food was out of this world. Really incredible. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Location was good, about 25 minutes drive to the ski slopes and 10 minutes drive to the town. They provided ample wide variety of drinks to unwind after the hitting the slopes. The lounge is fitted with camping furniture.
