Very good stay for a trip to Wilpattu National Park as Safari Tours are offered and you can enter the park fron the Western Entrance. I made a half day safari and saw leopard and elefants and many more animals. Don´t miss out to go to the beautiful lake just 10 minutes away and to the rice fields - it´s beautiful there! The staff ist very friendly and helpful and the food is good. So overall a perfect stay for Wilpattu!

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. Staff were incredibly helpful, the tent was clean and comfortable and the food was amazing - especially the candlelit dinner. We did the morning safari and the driver and guide were both excellent, spotting lots of wildlife and giving additional information. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, especially the traditional Sri Lankan dishes, served in very generous portions. The property has 24-hour security service, CCTV cameras around the tents, and regular night patrols carried out by two dedicated security officers. This level of attention made us feel completely safe and well cared for at all times, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the natural surroundings without any concern. We also booked a safari through the hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. Thanks to Manusha, a brilliant ornithologist (bird expert) and our extremely knowledgeable guide, we were fortunate enough to see elephants, sloth bears, and leopards all in one day. The safari guides were professional, experienced, and clearly passionate about wildlife. From the warm welcome to the safari and everything in between, everything was perfect. Housekeeping was excellent and went the extra mile to make our stay truly special. Thamaravila truly stands out as an outstanding destination and is a must-visit for wildlife and nature lovers from all over the world. Highly, highly recommended!

This new place is really wonderful, we enjoyed so much our 5 nights there. Roshan is the best host, he has built this place with taste and intelligence. He wants you to have a good experience, but also knows about privacy. The place is very close to the beach, walking distance.
