You can totally relax with the sounds of nature all around you. The staff were fantastic and always ready to help answer any questions including “what bird is that” x 20. The staff were patient and knowledgeable and they made my experience amazing!!

Offering river views, this fan-cooled tent has a private entrance, seating area and extra large bed with spring mattress. It includes a hot water shower, towel and shoe racks. This hotel stay was AMAZING! A little oasis during our safari trips in Udawalawe! The pool was fantastic break from the mid day heat, the restaurant had delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room was LOVELY; bed was comfortable, and outdoor concept for the bathroom/shower, and the air con could be as cold as you wanted it! Monkeys live on or near the grounds so it was fun to watch them swing through the trees. Staff was so nice and accommodating! Would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay during your safari!

The property is gorgeous and very natural. There are no eye-sores, everything is very blended with nature. The two swimming pools were really lovely and the restaurant buffet dinners were delicious. The best part was the general manager who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He engaged with our kids and made sure they stayed busy with basketball, volleyball, arranged a village walk across the river, and made special arrangements on our safari to celebrate my son's birthday. He was like a traditional hotel general manager who treats everybody like his personal guest. It's a really special place and definitely a great base for visiting both Udawalawe and Yala parks.

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. Friendly staff, clean camp, and excellent amenities. Highly recommended

Featuring carpet flooring, tents come with an outdoor living area and a private bathroom with hot-water showers. Includes a torch, umbrellas and a luggage rack. This ecolodge was enjoyable for my children, husband and myself. The tents were roomy and had flushing toilets and warm showers. The dinners were elegant on white tablecloth under the stars. The safari guide and driver did an excellent job pointing out elephant herds, birds and crocodiles at this park. I recommend this lodge.

What a wonderful hidden gem! This property was beautiful and FULL of life. You could hear how alive the jungle is. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. There was a big rain storm when we arrived, making it difficult to get up the road, but they helped our driver. The room was unique and our kids enjoyed the property. The food was out of this world. Definitely request dinner when you arrive. You can truly tell how passionate the host is about cooking and sharing food with you. He even tried a new recipe on us, and it was to die for! It's still our best food experience in our 15 days in Sri Lanka.
