To be about a block off the main street (calle Rinconcito) and yet feel like you’re in a serene nature reserve, was quite the precious surprise. To walk in over the mangrove…you encounter the crabs and the bird song…and yes, there is a rooster. It’s fine. He made me laugh a lot! I felt very comfortable here - even in a tent! It was the most comfortable mattress I had my whole trip! I felt safe and secure and very much comfortable to have my needs met. I really did love the intentionality of the place. The kitchen is great and the compost toilet is easy and clean. Wifi is stable. Can’t wait to go back! Gracias Corazón Mazunte por mantener ese lugar tan precioso!

Guests will have a special experience as the tent provides a fireplace. The tent includes a private bathroom equipped with a shower. Such a nice place in the woods & not far from the city centre with a beautiful walk of about 30 min. The motor taxi cost us 50 pesos to get there from the city. There is a fire place that warms up the room quickly. The host is super nice & responsive - he came over to help us set the fire 🙂 Make sure you always have the keys with you as the doors lock once you close it.

Loved my tipi room so clean and comfortable. It’s a great area super central there food is great. The pool area so nice. Staff is super nice and friendly. People that stay there also super friendly. Would super come back to stay. 1000% recommended.
