I spent three days looking for a place to meet my criteria: very close to nature, beautiful beaches, isolated, quiet, no parties, no children, and good rating. And I found Dryft Darocotan. Even if I don't get to see any more of the Philippines, I would feel that I saw the best of it. The beaches are white and pink. Every sunset is different. At night you can just sit and look at the stars. During day time, you can swim, paddle board, snorkel near the ship wreck, see colorful fish or spend time at the restaurant. I loved all the healthy and delicious options on the menu - even though I'm not vegetarian, I was happy to see that they had one or two vegetarian / vegan options for every meal. I chose a Hive Hut, which was very spacious and clean. Also I was surprised that insects didn't bother us at all. There were just tons of butterflies and little hermit crabs who were busy doing their things. The best part of this experience were the people working at Dryft - as helpful and friendly as all the Filipinos I've met. Thank you so much for being so kind and welcoming, Dryft crew!

This tent has a sea view. Bamboo Nest Beachfront encontra-se em frente à praia, em Puerto Princesa, e apresenta um bar e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. Staff went out of their way to help us. The place itself has a really nice vibe and is well located. Also, cute dogs and cats everywhere. We loved our time there; only wished we booked more nights! Definitely one of the highlights of our vacations. I'd give 11/10 if I could.

The adventure starts with a great introduction of Amelia, who explained us the campervan and the recommended stops resp. places you can overnight. It's easy to set up and they provide all you need, comfy bed and pillows, kitchen utensiles, powerbank, torches, etc. We overnight straight on the beach, no other tourists - off the beaten track. I live several years and did not even know theses places myself. Don't hesitate to book if you like to have an adventure
